Millersylvania Park is a true gem of Thurston County. There’s miles of woodland walking trails, a beautiful lake with an awesome swimming area that is bustling every hot summer day, there’s boating, there’s fishing, everything you could hope for in a great state park. The heart of the park is the Millersylvania Retreat Center. This facility can accommodate up to 150 people and even includes 16 cabins for staying overnight. It’s the perfect place to create a summer camp dream wedding. Kelsey and Stephen booked three nights at the center to make the absolute most of their time here with chosen family and friends.

Kelsey and Stephen wanted their wedding to feel relaxed but classy so to elevate the rustic feel of the center Kelsey spent months collecting dozens of colorful vintage vases that were packed with wildflowers. Their ceremony was held across the field in a beautiful, historic hay barn that overlooks the lake. The barn was decorated with incredible vintage rugs for the aisle, fairy lights, gauzy draping and stunning glass vases placed atop wood rounds with candles. Their wedding party of six each individually danced their way to altar where Kelsey and Stephen made their vows, exchanged rings and literally tied the knot with a hand-fasting ceremony.
